Simona was so considerate and caring for my anxious pup. She went above and beyond to accommodate Nellie and communicated throughout. Our flight home got delayed and Simona was willing and able to stay an extra night, which saved us a ton of stress. Thank you so much.☺

We have a 10 year old rescue with some anxiety issues, especially around people she doesn’t know. We trusted her with Jake and Sabrina for our 11 day vacation and we would 100% do it again. We were looking for someone with experience to dogsit in our home for a week and Simona, aka the Mary Poppins of canines, was incredible. After an initial meeting at our apartment (where she asked all the right questions), two things were made explicitly clear. #1. This was not her first rodeo. #2. Our dog (a 14 month old male Aussie mix) was OBSESSED (in love?) with her. While we were gone, Simona sent plenty of pictures and videos and seemed unfazed at the training challenges we're working on (slight reactivity to other dogs on leash). We returned to a clean home and a still-living, untraumatized dog! It was nice to know that our boy was in super capable hands and that he was probably too lovestruck to me or my partner that much. Would definitely rebook.

Jake and Simona were absolutely wonderful! Simona was sitting another dog, so Mishka hung out mostly with Jake and he was fantastic. He sent adorable photos and updates about their adventures together and I felt 100% confident that Mishka was in good hands (which isn't always the case). At the Meet & Greet, they made a real effort to connect with Mishka and make him feel comfortable in their home. Jake and Simona are true dog lovers and their enthusiasm was awesome. I would absolutely recommend them!

Simona and Jake were absolutely brilliant! I tend to have a hard time leaving our pup, Daisy, but I knew from our meet and greet that she would be in great, loving hands. Simona and Jake are clearly pros at puppy sitting and kept Daisy happy with toys, games and puppy TV (Daisy's favorite). They had Daisy's safety and happiness in mind the whole time, and sent us a ton of funny pictures and videos so we could be at ease. We'll definitely book Simona and Jake again in the future!

Simona and Jake take their job of looking over your pup very seriously. And by serious, I don't mean without humor or fun, I mean that they are very thoughtful, thorough, prepared and professional about the care they provide. Our guy Fritz, an American Pit who is not always the easiest dog to walk around town given his energy and sometimes less perfect manners with other dogs, was well cared for and understood by S&J. They shared many photos and updates and basically made sure Fritz was comfortable and looked after. They are good with timeliness, communication and basic approach. Can't say enough about these two pet caregivers.

Simona went above and beyond during her stay with our dog while we were out of town for a week. She left our apartment sparkling clean, sent frequent updates and pictures throughout the stay and was incredibly accommodating to our dog’s specific needs. The questions she asked and fact she made a point to meet our dog ahead of time made us feel very comfortable leaving him in her care from the very beginning. Will definitely be booking again!

Charlie had a wonderful time with Simona & Jake. They were very professional and trustworthy, and also a lot of fun with the pup! They sent frequent picture of charlie having fun and were really flexible when my husband and I extended our trip. They even went out and got charlie more of his dog food, since ours ran out! Definitely would leave Charlie with Simona and Jake the next time we are out of town!

Once again, Simona & Jake took wonderful care of our elderly dog in our apartment while we were away! They are incredibly thoughtful and caring, which is particularly important to us because our 13 year-old dog has a whole host of specific medical/dietary/lifestyle needs. On this particular weekend, Hermes had been suffering from GI issues, and Simona did an amazing job administering his medicine, reporting on his recovery, and giving him extra love and attention. By the time we got home we could tell that he was feeling much better! We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!

We keep coming back to Simona and Jake to watch our pup! They are super responsive, reliable, flexible and above all caring for Toby. He gets so excited when he knows he's going to stay there and we get tons of pictures. I can't say thanks enough!

I was very pleased. Jake was great at communicating. Their apartment is dog proof/ dog friendly. They live close by. During the meet and greet. I became very confident that he would do a great job. They will be first on the list next time I need a dog sitter.

I could tell right off the bat that they were true animal lovers and had a lot of experience watching all different kinds of dogs with different personalities and different needs. SIMONA AND JAKE ARE THE BEST! Shaggy deals with extreme separation anxiety so I needed Simona and jake to watch him for a few hours the past couple days and honestly, Shaggy is our baby LOL so we were very nervous to leave him with strangers in a strange home. But their home is really charming, inviting and playful. They had lots of toys and blankets set up for Shaggy to feel comfortable and to be entertain in all parts of their home. They had so many balls to choose from, he tried to play with all of them at once! LOL They really kept an eye on him and made sure he was ok at all times since he is still a puppy (this we noticed most during the meet and greet. They are very professional even in the meet and greet. They sent adorable photos and consistent updates as they knew we were nervous. ☺ He didn't want to leave their home, which honestly at first made me worried that he wouldn't like our home anymore LOL, but it actually just reassured us more that we will DEFINITELY use them again as we feel secure that Shaggy will be well taken care of, safe and have a ball! (see what I did there?) lol *p.s. he was very happy coming back to our home as well ☺ We look forward to a longer stay in December!!!!!

Jake and Simona were once again able to help out with a last-minute request. We have construction going on and needed to have Wallace watched during the day with fewer than 24 hours notice. They were super accommodating.

They sent plenty of photos and Breeze seemed happy when we picked her up. However she came home with a kennel cough and often this is picked up from air particles or dirty toys from other dogs - it can last two weeks in the air if not cleaned. This is the risk of boarding dogs at private homes and part our fault for not knowing more about the environment she wasn’t going to.

Simona and Jake took excellent care of Hermes during our honeymoon, and they were really delightful to work with. We feel so happy to know that we’ve found such great sitters in our new neighborhood! Everything from initial meeting to pick up went very smoothly, and we loved all the pictures we received of Hermes during his stay. We also felt fully secure that Hermes was well cared for and in very good hands, which gave us great peace of mind so we could enjoy our trip. We would highly recommend Simona and Jake to anyone in the area, and we will look forward to working with them again in the future!

Simona and Jake took great care of our 6 month old pup! It was our first time away from him for an extended period, so we were of course a little nervous to leave him for over a week. We got regular updates and pictures about the fun they were having - Frankie, our pup, always looked happy and content in the pictures. He seemed right at home. If I had questions, Simona was quick to respond. They were accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Would use them again for dog boarding.

Simona was a perfect dogsitter! Our dog Maynard can be a little bit of a handful, but Simona immediately recognized his quirks and knew exactly how to work with him. She took great care of Maynard even under challenging circumstances (a pretty intense thunderstorm) and is a great communicator -- planning was easy and she sent us regular updates with lots of photos. We'll be excited to work with Simona next time we need someone to watch Maynard, and we think Maynard will be too!

I'm surprised our little guy Harley wanted to come home!! Simona and Jake were amazing parents to Harley. From day one we knew he would be in good hands. Not only are S&J dog lovers but they're also very professional and understand that your dog is like a kid and there are a lot of emotions involved, especially when having someone else take care of them. We were away a week and a half and there wasn't a single second where we worried about Harley. 1) because we knew he was in a safe and loving home and 2) because we were constantly receiving pictures and updates. Our rambunctious cocker spaniel pup, Milo, stayed with Jake and Simona for nearly three weeks while we were overseas. Milo couldn't have been in better hands. This is no mean feat, as Milo is an energetic little guy (to put it mildly) and comes with a host of allergy problems that require extra attention. Simona was great. We left her with our new puppy for 9 days! She clearly made Frankie very happy and helped with the basic house training and simple commands we had started. Where do I even begin with Simona and Jake? It all started when our dog-sitter bailed on us a few weeks before vacation. We were in a stressful rush to find someone good to watch our rather large (115 pound) dog, Drake. Simona responded to my email immediately and was incredibly accommodating and went out of her way to set up a meet and greet very quickly, to ease our stress. Simona and Jake loved Drake immediately and they made us and Drake feel very welcome and comfortable, as if we had known them for years. To book Drake's stay with them was a no-brainer. Drake is an older dog with some special needs, such as some walking problems because of his hips. Simona and Jake made sure to cater to his needs and they took care of him so well. They were great with giving him meds and treated him as if he were their dog. They also sent a ton of pictures of Drake while we were away, showing that he was happy and doing well. I would definitely book a stay with Simona and Jake again, no question, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dog sitter. You could not ask for two more caring and kind people to watch your dog while you are away.

Simona and her partner are amazing. It's so hard when you can't take your dog with you to a trip... it's like part of you is missing. But for the first time I did enjoy my trip because Simona was always in touch sending pictures and also describing how was their day. I hope I can take Bono with me for next trip... but if I can't Simona is definitely my first option.

Simona and Jake were great! They were very accommodating, flexible, and easy to communicate with. When we booked Walt's stay with them, there was a scheduling conflict with another dog. But instead of simply saying no, Simona and Jake made the extra effort to help us and decided to let Walt stay at their apartment the first half of the week and then switch to our apartment the latter half. We're so happy they did that because Walt clearly had the best time with them. When I went to pick up our keys the next day, Walt was ecstatic to see Jake.
Toward the end of the trip Walt got a little stomach bug, but Jake and Simona were very upfront and communicative about it the entire time. They even were prepared to take Walt to the vet if need be. We really appreciate the extra care and attention they gave Walt when he wasn't feeling well. They even checked in about him after the stay was over to make sure he was feeling better.
Walt was in the best hands while we were gone, and we highly recommend Simona and Jake to anyone looking for a Rover sitter!

Simona and Jake were awesome! Doug took to them pretty quickly, and if the photos they sent throughout his stay were any indication, he had a great time with them. He was happy to see me when I came to pick him up, but still seemed to be sad to be leaving his new friends- and he was exhausted once we got home, which is sign that he definitely played the whole weekend I was gone. Simona and Jake replied to my request very quickly and set up a meet and greet where Juniper made herself very at home right away with toys and a little nap. They sent several photos and were in constant contact during her stay. Given it was over a holiday, there was a scheduling hiccup so they even picked her up and dropped her off again which was incredibly convenient. She looked like she had a great time and I will definitely book them again next time!

My fiancee (at the time) and I were super stressed leading up to our wedding week. We needed someone to watch our first fur baby for a whole week because we were traveling for our destination wedding.
We've never left Champ with anyone not part of the immediate family for more than a day and now we had to leave him with "strangers" for a whole week!
We were coming up with contingency plans to leave him with busy family members, large daycares and of course dog sitters. We didn't know what would be best for Champ but we did know that Champ can be selective with dogs and wanted to find someone that had experience with dogs like Champ. Our stress was nearly immediately melted away once we met with Simona and Jake.
Being first time fur baby owners we're the type to not trust anyone to take care of him and easily rush him to the vet for any small ailment. Simona and Jake made us feel at ease and took one huge burden off of us so that we could enjoy our wedding week. They are both super honest with us and never hid any issues from us and if something did come up, they let us know in the least alarming way possible. Don't get me wrong: Simona and Jake took great care of Champ but we're overly picky dog owners and Simona and Jake accommodated all of our requests.
Our favorite from leaving Champ with Simona and Jake for a whole week were the awesome dog pictures. Not just any dog pictures though, they all came with hilarious and cute stories that made us laugh and feel reassured that we left Champ with the right people. Jake and Simona are such gentle, warm and responsible caretakers I would probably trust them to take care of a baby and will certainly return Champ back to them if we need sitters for our honeymoon or any other vacation.

They were absolutely wonderful! They took such great care of our pups and they constantly sent us updates with pictures. We're extremely picky with whom we leave our babies with and we will 100% leave them here again.☺

Simona and Jake were the perfect caretakers for our pit mix, Chelsea. She can be shy and prone to separation anxiety from us, but it seemed like she had a wonderful time during the weekend she stayed with them. We received plenty of photo updates which showed her cuddling, playing and generally looking happy and comfortable. Simona and Jake’s love of dogs is obvious, as is their understanding that animals are individuals – just like humans. I don’t know how else to describe how happy I was with the experience, so I’ll just say I would definitely book again!

Simona and Jake took care of my Bull Terrier, Simon; and I couldn't have asked for more flexible, caring, and fun people to take care of him.
I was updated with pictures of Simon's adventures and could see that he was having a really great time. They even made him a little fort to nestle and burrow into! And when Simon started habitually waking them up in the middle of the night and barking (from some bump or nightmare) they were great sports about it and took turns staying up with him to keep him calm and comforted. Forts and comfort that is the type of fun and caring attention I want my dog to get!
From our meet and greet to the day we picked our boy up, Simona and Jake kept in touch and were responsive and attentive to all our concerns, questions, and scheduling needs.

Simona & Jake were great! Received tons of photos of my pup while I was gone and lots of text updates. Awesome communication. Not to mention they welcomed a pup who can be a bit of a handful outdoors! Would totally recommend Simona & Jake. Your pup will be in good hands!

This was Sasha's second stay with Simona and Jake, and it was another great experience. We received lots of photos and updates throughout the stay, and she always seemed so happy and content. Booking and coordination was also a breeze!

This was our first time using Rover and we hit the jack pot with Simona and Jake. They clearly love animals and are responsible and reliable. Wally enjoy his vacation as much we we enjoyed ours and he came back tired from his many walks. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.

My dog had a great stay with Simona and Jake. Simona was also great for me to work with -- always quick to reply to messages, flexible with scheduling, on top of the important details (food, medication, etc.), and great with sending updates while I was out of town. I would be glad to hire Simona and Jake again in the future and would highly recommend them!

Simona and Jake were great! They know their way around different breeds and their respective personalities, and really made sure that we were all comfortable with the arrangements during the meet n greet. Simona kept us posted throughout the stay with lots of messages and photos, and Sasha looked perfectly at home with them. Will definitely reach out again the next time we are looking for someone to take care of our pup!

Simona and Jake were absolutely fantastic. Our dog Meeko had a little bit of separation anxiety toward the beginning of his stay but Simona and Jake were extremely patient with him and were able to give him lots of love to help him get through that period. By midweek he was very playful and was very comfortable as evidenced by the ton of great photos that Simona was sending. It really helped us enjoy our vacation to the fullest knowing that Meeko was in excellent care. A big THANK YOU to them, and would love to have Simona and Jake take care of Meeko again the next time we're out of town.

Franklin was so well-taken care of during his stay with Simona. She provided lots of pictures and was very organized in preparing for Franklin's visit. We would be more than happy to use her again!

Simona and Jake were wonderful sitters! Muxy stayed with them for a full two weeks while we were out of the country, and we were quite nervous about leaving her for such a long time while we were so far away (it was our first big trip since we adopted her). But Simona sent updates and adorable pictures that made it clear Muxy was having a great time. Simona was also very conscientious about updating us about some stomach upset issues that started just prior to the stay. And she was very receptive to our concerns about avoiding certain situations, since Muxy isn't great with other dogs.
When we picked Muxy up, she watched after Simona and Jake as they returned to their apartment; she seems to have really fallen in love with them, and was in great, healthy spirits! We would definitely trust Simona and Jake with Muxy again.

Simona and Jake took great care of my dog, Charlie, and followed my special instructions about walktime. Simona sent me pictures while I was away and treated Charlie like her own. I hopefully can bring Charlie here during my next vacation!

Jake and Simona were very helpful and took good care of Sadie. They provided us with frequent updates on Sadie and how she was doing. It was important for us that they actually enjoyed her company, which they did. When we picked up Sadie, she seemed calm and contented.

Simona is the best dog walker I ever had! Both my pups Harley and Diego loved her especially when she stayed over with them when i was out of town. Responsible, punctual and very loving, you cannot ask for a better caregiver for your pup!

Her approach is loving and attentive, firm on boundaries but full of love, excellent attention to detail as far as meds, food, walks, treats and general habits and she really understands the importance of texting pics and checking in with us often without overdoing it.
